A long term project to co-opt and subvert the visual language of militarized survivalists, Interstellar Medium: Tactical for the Terrestrial relies on birch forests as symbols of altruism. Documenting performative, sculptural interventions in the Finnish birch forest during sap season, interspecies suckling seeks to undermine militarized, survivalist aesthetics.
